Eliza arrived in England from her native Utah with little more than a maxed-out credit card and a fierce determination to succeed as a performer. Not one to do things by halves, Eliza taught herself to play guitar and honed her craft by playing songs to travellers on London's Tube. Her remarkable voice and striking looks soon got her 'real' gigs and fans across London.
In 2006 a chance meeting with Red Grape's Kerry Harvey-Piper led to Eliza recording some tracks with Calum MacColl in the Red Grape studio. The result is the stunning debut mini-album, 'Utah'.

"Her style evokes memories of early Ani Di Franco in her pure tones that carried a very exposed and personal feel with her precisely clipped vocals that draw the ear expertly to the important phrases. I can't believe it will be long before her name will be well known indeed." BetweenPlanets.co.uk

"An artistic sprite with one of the most incredible voices either side of the Atlantic." Pod3.tv
