About Us

Red Grape Records is an independent record label based in London. It was set up by Calum MacColl and Kerry Harvey-Piper, two of the original founders of the early social networking project and indie label MVine. When they left MVine, the artists moved with them to their new home at Red Grape.

Calum: “Like most independent labels, Red Grape is driven by passion. Our artists are world class and we work hard to make sure their music is heard in as many places as possible. Everything we release is available throughout the world, from big chain retailers, small specialist record shops, online retailers and, of course, digitally. And you can always buy directly from our own shop where more money goes directly back to the artist.”

Kerry: “We want you to hear what our artists are up to, so we make it easy for you to hear tracks and watch videos on this site. And because we believe in karma rather than DRM, we make some available as free downloads. So feel free to download, pass on and spread the word. It’s only human.”

We work with a number of other indie labels in Europe and the rest of the world that license our artists and promote them in their own territories.
